Dale was born in Glendale, California, and raised primarily in the Southern California area. He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and then attended Glendale College of Law full time while working full time to support his family of four. His hobbies are skiing, both water and snow, and traveling.
He began practicing law in December of 1977 in the Glendale/Sherman Oaks area of Southern California and then fulfilled his goal of living in a more rural area of the state by relocating to Paso Robles in 1979. He practiced law in San Luis County for 35 years before retiring. He has been active in community service with the North County Council of Camp Fire Board of Directors, United Way for San Luis Obispo County, Rotary International Paso Robles, Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, Paso Robles Wine Festival, Hospice San Luis Obispo County, Paso Robles Pioneer Day Committee, Paso Robles City Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, Paso Robles Main Street Association, and the Paso Robles High School Mock Trial Team.
Dale’s love of wine and beer led him to help start the first Wine Festival in Paso Robles and to support the establishment of the Firestone-Walker Brewery. His passion for wine and beer combined with his desire to serve people made the idea of a Beer & Wine Tour business seem only natural. Sharing the tastes of the Central Coast in a way that makes it accessible to so many others is what he lives for.
