I have been the primary litigation attorney for most all of the cases in the law firm of Eschwig & Gustin. I have had one legal secretary and two law clerks that have become attorneys. I have tried a large number of jury trials in several counties throughout California as well as a very large number of Court Trials including Unlawful Detainers (Evictions) and Family Law and Juvenile Law Cases, which are not entitle to a Jury, but all of which were litigated before a Superior Court Judge.

Three of my most famous landlord/tenant cases involved the City of Paso Robles versus William T. Brooks, who was a tenant at the Paso Robles Airport and where the City had not given proper notice, and a case of a large bank that was attempting to wrongfully remove a poor single lady from her home because the Lender had not properly prepared the notices to remove her from her property. And in a more recent case, I was able to keep a minority couple in their home after the largest bank in California had done an illegal foreclosure on them. I was able to stop the Unlawful Detainer and get them a new VA loan and they are still in their home for which that had been making payments for more than 6 years. I successfully brought suit against that Bank for their illegal foreclosure.

On the other side of the coin, I have never lost a case wherein I was representing the landlord in such cases.
