Dale Gustin was born in Glendale, California, and was raised primarily in the Southern California area. Dale graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and has two grown children, and four grandchildren.

His hobbies are skiing, both water and snow, and traveling. When Dale decided to go back to college and finish his education for the purpose of pursuing a law degree, he fully intended to move to a more rural location in the state of California. Dale attended Glendale College of Law, attending full time and working full time to support a family of four.

He graduated from Glendale College of Law in June of 1977, and he was "sworn in" to practice law in December of 1977. He remained in the Glendale/Sherman Oaks area of Southern California for a year and a half working for an Attorney who did primarily Criminal and Civil litigation.

Since moving to Paso Robles in 1979, he has been the primary litigation attorney for most all of the cases in his law firm even when there were two other attorneys working in said firm. Two of those Attorneys that worked for him at one time or another, became Superior Court Commissioners in San Luis Obispo County. Also, he has had one legal secretary and two law clerks who worked for him that have become attorneys.

He has served as a Judge-Pro-Tem many times over the years as well as serving as an arbitrator on numerous matters. Additionally, he has served as a legal coach for the Paso Robles High School Mock Trial team since that program was reinstated in this county in 1998.

Now, Dale having been active in San Luis Obispo County since 1979, he wants to continue to be a public servant and ask you to vote for him to be your next District One Supervisor.
